ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A total of $111,450 was given out to the public on Saturday, to get guns off the streets of St. Louis.
That’s according to Mayor Lyda Krewson’s office, which helped with a gun buyback event at the Omega Center.
Police took in 303 handguns, 533 long guns, and six assault weapons.
The payouts ranged from $100 to $200, depending on the firearm.
No word on if there’ll be a sequel.
