The Edward Jones Dome hosts NFL games, auto shows, racing events, conventions, exhibitions and touring acts, and has a seating capacity of 70,000.
The Edward Jones Dome features a “magic carpet” turf that easily retracts and is stored below the dome floor. In fact, the floor can be changed from turf to convention center flooring in as little as one hour. The ceiling can be raised and lowered to accommodate acoustics from various events, as well.
Ticket prices for football games start at $35.00, but a guided tour of the Edward Jones Dome only costs just $5.00 per adult or $3.00 per child, and offers visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the NFL locker room, press box and dome floor. Tours last approximately 75 minutes and are available Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations are required.
Coming and Going
The Edward Jones Dome is conveniently located in downtown St. Louis, with easy access to all major thoroughfares, including Interstates 70, 55, 44 and 64.
The closest parking available is located at the America’s Center facility on 7th Street, between Washington and Convention Plaza. This parking is available in a covered garage and an open lot for overflow.
Additional parking can be found throughout downtown, with prices ranging from $5.00 to $30.00, depending on the proximity to the stadium. If the weather is fair, independent rickshaw-style bicycle drivers are available for hire to take you from the stadium to your car after the game.
For those who wish to avoid parking and driving altogether, the Edward Jones Dome is easily accessible from the Metrolink and Metro Bus Number 99, both of which will deliver you to the Convention Center stop, located two blocks south of the dome on Washington Avenue at North 6th Street. Check the Metro St. Louis Metrolink and Metro Bus Schedules here.
The Edward Jones Dome can be configured multiple ways to accommodate various events, including football, basketball, races and more. At its highest, depending on its configuration, the dome can accommodate up to 70,000 guests. Three levels of seating are available, including terrace, club and concourse levels. There are also more than 125 private suites, available for a premium rate, of course, in which to view the game.
For easy viewing, there are Jumbotrons located in the end zone areas. The Jumbotrons project the game, contests, advertisements and more.
