Back for it’s third season – it’s the Inside Pitch featuring former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Kyle McClellan.
Kyle grew up in Florissant, Mo. a suburb of St. Louis and attended Hazelwood West High School. The St. Louis Cardinals selected him in the 25th round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft in 2002. He passed the opportunity to play baseball at the University of Missouri to pursue his dream of playing for the St. Louis Cardinals. After spending 6 years in the minor leagues and 2 elbow surgeries, Kyle made his Major League Debut in 2008 for the St. Louis Cardinals. He played with the Cardinals for a total of 5 seasons where he was named the St. Louis Cardinals Rookie of the Year in 2008 and was a member of the World Championship Team in 2011. In 2013 He signed with the Texas Rangers. After the 2013 season he had shoulder surgery, which ultimately lead to his retirement announcement in December of 2014.
Kyle is the Founder and President of the charity Brace for Impact 46 which is currently raising money for an orphanage in Haiti.

Kyle is and avid outdoorsman and has been a part of the Drury Outdoors Team since 2008 which airs shows on the Outdoor network.
