Pevely Flea Market

Located approximately 30 miles south of the Gateway Arch, the Pevely Flea Market is one of the biggest in the region and is open every weekend, year-round, regardless of weather. Hundreds of vendors sell their wares in the indoor market square and shopping mall or at one of the outside vendor locations. Locally grown fresh produce and Missouri-made products in the spacious Farmers Market help make Pevely Flea Market one of the best flea markets in St. Louis.

Holiday hours may vary and are posted on the Web site. Regular hours for shopping mall and office: Wednesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Scholar Shop is an upscale resale shop with a twist: All purchases support The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis. Men, women and children will find clothing and accessories to suit a variety of fashion tastes. The Scholar Shop is a great place to browse for gently-worn evening wear or to add to a career wardrobe. Corporate employees will usually find a fine selection of tailored jackets and blazers to complement dress pants or skirts for the office.

Feed My People Thrift Store

The Feed My People organization runs its own thrift store, with a second location at 3295 Ottomeyer Road in High Ridge, Missouri. Feed my People clients who qualify are given special discounts to the already bare-bones prices of the donated items in the store, and others who can’t pay at all are helped, too. Spend enough time searching and you’ll likely find a bargain, plus you’ll have the added bonus of knowing you helped support a worthy charity.
