The grandaddy of farm experiences in the St. Louis area is the Eckert’s family farm on the Illinois side of the river. Both the Belleville and Millstadt locations offer trees, but the Belleville farm has the best selection. Cut-your-own trees are priced at $35 and $45. Don’t forget to shop for handcrafted food gifts at Eckert’s Country Store or have a slice of pie in the restaurant while you’re there.
