The German School Association of Greater St. Louis is an independent, non-profit organization that offers superior German instruction in language and culture for children and adults. In 1961, the GSA was founded to provide German language instruction to families of German immigrants to help their children effectively communicate with relatives still residing in post-WWII Europe. As time passed, the popularity of the school grew and in the 1980s, the school expanded its tutelage to meet the growing interest of adults in German language study. GSA follows a traditional school year, but allows students to enroll at any time throughout the year.
