5 teens arrested in Hannibal burglaries

HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) — Hannibal police believe they’ve broken up a burglary ring, and all five suspects are ages 14 and 15.

The Hannibal Courier-Post reports that an investigation began last week when someone saw two boys running from a house. Both boys were arrested that night.

Further investigation led to information on five burglaries, along with thefts from vehicles and property damage. Three other juveniles were later arrested.

All five have been turned over to juvenile authorities.
