ST. LOUIS, MO. (KMOX) - While Punxsutawney Phil was being placed on his stump today, the St. Louis Zoo was undergoing a groundhog upheaval.

Lily, the Zoo’s resident groundhog, died last year at 10-years of age.

As for the Zoo’s replacement? 10-month-old “Pippi” is in hibernation and slept through the holiday, cancelling any Groundhog Day activities in St. Louis.
