St. Luke’s Honored for Fifth Year

ST. LOUIS MO.(KMOX)- St. Louis is the home to Missouri’s only hospital to make a prestigious annual list put out by

 St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield has been named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals — for the fifth year in a row.

 St. Luke’s president and CEO Gary Olson said, ” And it’s based on our clinical outcomes. So, we’re very proud and thrilled with this because it represents the high quality of care we give at St. Luke’s, and we happen to be the only hospital in Missouri that received this ranking, and so we’re very honored.”

The top 50 ranking puts St. Luke’s in the top one percent of all hospitals nationwide — according to HealthGrades.

Other hospitals in the top five percent include St. Mary’s, Missouri Baptist, Barnes Jewish St. Peters and Christian Hospital.
