Cards Send Down Miller, Cox, Hill

JUPITER, Fla. (KMOX) – Following Sunday’s 7-to-2 Spring Training loss to Florida, the St. Louis Cardinals trimmed their roster by sending some players from their big league camp to their minor league camp.

Pitcher Shelby Miller, infielder Zack Cox, and catcher Steven Hill were among the notables.

Others sent down were catchers Nick Derba, Audry Perez, and Robert Stock, as well as pitchers Scott McGregor and Kevin Thomas. Infielder Donovan Solano also was re-assigned.

The Cards now have 52 players in their big league camp.
