ST. CHARLES, MO. (KMOX) – The FBI says a man (left) wanted for robbing a bank yesterday in Shrewsbury could be the same man who held up five other banks since early December.

An African-American man in his late 30’s robbed a First Bank branch in Shrewsbury. Police describe him as having a medium build and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He displayed a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for the suspect’s capture.

Meanwhile, a second robbery occurred at the PNC Bank on First Capitol Drive in St. Charles around 4 P.M. The bandit (right) walked in with gun drawn, went behind the bank clerk’s counter and took an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
