ST. CHARLES, MO. (KMOX) – The FBI says a man (left) wanted for robbing a bank yesterday in Shrewsbury could be the same man who held up five other banks since early December.
An African-American man in his late 30′s robbed a First Bank branch in Shrewsbury. Police describe him as having a medium build and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He displayed a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for the suspect’s capture.
Meanwhile, a second robbery occurred at the PNC Bank on First Capitol Drive in St. Charles around 4 P.M. The bandit (right) walked in with gun drawn, went behind the bank clerk’s counter and took an undisclosed amount of money.
