JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – Gov. Jay Nixon is touting a new report with recommendations on how Missouri can boost its economy in the future.
Nixon and state Economic Development Director David Kerr were to release the final report Monday from a commission of business leaders from around the state.
In December, the commission announced several objectives for creating jobs, as well as seven targeted industries with potential for growth.
Those industries are advanced manufacturing, energy, bioscience, health sciences, information technology, financial and professional services, and transportation.
