ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Police have identified three suspects taken into custody Thursday morning after a police involved shooting incident.

A fourth suspect remains at large.

Charged with various counts of Robbery and Armed Criminal Action are 23 year old Jason Clark, 23 year old Sylvester Johnson and 26 year old Ronnie McGowan.

City spokesperson Erica Van Ross says the bruising and cuts on Johnson’s face are related to him resisting the arresting officer. Johnson was taken to the hospital afterward where he was treated and released a short time later.

Bond for Clark and Johnson was set at $100,000.  Bond for McGowan was set at $250,000.

Clark remains hospitalized with a police bullet wound in the back.

Just before Midnight police were informed of three separate robberies.  They began following a car when police say one of the suspects, now identified as Clark, got out of the vehicle and fired shots at officers.  He was shot when he refused to drop the weapon.

Johnson was caught in the 4800 Block of Highland and McGowan was caught in the 4600 block of Natural Bridge.

The officer who shot Jason Clark is a 38 year old 13 year veteran.  Under standard procedure the officer has been placed on administrative leave.
