City Police Make Arrest in March Shooting Death

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  A man has been charged with 1st Degree Murder in connection with a shooting death in early March.

The victim, 35-year-old Antwoine Shaw, was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car in the 5700 block of Mimika on the evening of March 4th.

He’s been shot multiple times in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have charged 18-year-old Rickey L. Bates with 1st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Robbery and two counts of Armed Criminal Action in Shaw’s shooting death.

Bond has been set at $100,000.
