Kinloch Mayor Pleads Not Guilty to Embezzlement

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Kinloch’s Mayor Keith Conway pleads not guilty to using tens-of-thousands of dollars in taxpayer money on pleasure trips and other personal expenses.

On Monday, a federal grand jury indicted Conway on one felony count of Wire Fraud and one felony count of Federal Program Theft.

Conway is accused of using city funds to pay for Bahamas vacation cruises, and trips to Las Vegas and Ft. Lauderdale. The indictment also alleges Conway used taxpayer money to pay his personal credit card bills, his Ameren UE electric bills, even his federal incomes taxes.
