ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Tens of thousands of Ameren customers in Missouri and Illinois were knocked into the dark for the second day in a row, thanks to severe weather.
At the height of the outages, there were 60,000 without electricity.
As of 4:15 a.m., 32,278 in Missouri and 4,768 were without service. KMOX is awaiting word from Ameren on restoration times.
A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 9 a.m. Monday.
