ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis police have made arrests in a pair of cases that may be connected to a larger series of vehicle break-ins.
20-year-old James Palmer is being held on $150,000 bond.
He faces a dozen felony charges related to a recent string of car break-ins in several St. Louis area neighborhoods, including the Gate District, Botanical Heights, JeffVanderLou and Forest Park Southeast.
Authorities also say that there was an earlier weapons charge pending against Palmer, resulting in his high bond amount.
Also on Tuesday, 32-year-old Joshua Hollingsworth was charged in breaking into a car in the 1500 block of Mississippi on Monday.
Police were called to the scene after a passerby interrupted the burglary in progress.
Hollingsworth is being held on theft charges.
