ST. LOUIS (KMOX)- The three-day run of the Gateway City’s annual Independence Day holiday celebration begins Saturday with the 134th annual Veiled Prophet Parade. It steps off at 10am, and travels down 4th Street to Market, then west on Market.
The fairgrounds and Kids Zone opens at noon.
The first of five Fair St. Louis air shows also begins at noon.
The Fair St. Louis Music Video Contest winner is announced at 2pm.
The second air show starts at 4:30pm.
Classic rockers The Steve Miller Band take the main stage under the Arch at 7pm.
The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 9:15pm.
