ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – If you’ll be downtown this week you might want to take a look at the old riverboat Admiral. It could be our last look.
The boat dates back to 1907 and it once was a popular way to cruise up and down the Mississippi River. It was air-conditioned when most of St. Louis was not.
Later it became a gambling boat but that use ended last year.
Workers on the riverfront are now dismantling the top decks so the boat can clear the bridges for its final journey to the scrap yard.
