Overdose Suspected In O’Fallon Woman Death

O’FALLON, Ill. (KMOX) — A 22-year-old O’Fallon woman died Saturday morning of a suspected drug overdose, according to O’Fallon Police Chief John Betten.

The Belleville News Democrat reports, Rachel Sharkey was discovered in the bedroom at her home in the 400 block of Seven Hills Road.

Police suspect she died of an overdose because of “things” found at the scene, and no other explanation could be found for why someone her age in good health had died.
