Lisa Irwin
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — FBI agents searched a Kansas landfill for the second time this week as the search for a missing 10-month-old Missouri girl entered its fourth day.
FBI spokeswoman Bridget Patton said Friday that investigators and Kansas City police searched the Deffenbaugh Industries landfill in the Kansas City suburb of Shawnee. She declined to discuss details.
Patton says it’s the second time the agency has been at the landfill. Agents also searched the area Tuesday.
She says several areas have been searched more than once as authorities try to find out what happened to Lisa Irwin. Her parents say she was snatched from her crib sometime late Monday or early Tuesday.
Deffenbaugh Industries spokesman Tom Coffman says authorities arrived at the landfill around lunchtime Friday. He says he knew few details.
