ST. LOUIS (KMOX)-A longtime Brentwood City Administrator has been sentenced to five years probation, and six months home detention, for using city funds to gamble at the Casino Queen.
52-year-old Christopher Seemayer was also ordered to pay a $2,ooo fine and over $15,000 in restitution at his sentencing in federal court Wednesday.
Prosecutors say that between January of 2010 and March of this year, Seemayer got $30 thousand in cash advances on the city’s credit card and used the money at the casino.
The city paid the bill out of its operating funds. Seemayer pleaded guilty in June.
