ST. LOIUS (KMOX)-A man is dead after a mid-morning, south St. Louis shooting.
Police say the victim was shot in the chest at Cherokee and Iowa at about 9:15 a.m. He was rushed to a hospital where he died.
The suspect ran off and remains at large.
