Pair Charged In Theft Of Computers, Cash From School

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  Two men working as private security guards are now charged with stealing computers, cell phones and cash from Fanning Middle School in south St. Louis.

The incident dates back to Saturday December 17th, when 23-year-old Stephon Jackson and 20-year-old Christopher Johnson responded to an alarm that sounded at the school.

Police say once inside, the pair forced their way into a principal’s office and storage room, stealing items they found there.

The principal discovered the thefts upon returning to work the following Monday morning.

Jackson and Johnson are each charged with burglary and stealing.

They have been terminated from their jobs and the St. Louis public school district has cut ties with the company that employed them.
