Enrollment Up Slightly for Spring at SEMO

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) – First-day enrollment figures show a slight increase in the student population at Southeast Missouri State University for the spring semester.
The university says combined undergraduate and graduate student enrollment as of the first day of classes on Tuesday was 10,154, up 53 from this time last year.
The number of transfer students was down one 316 this year, compared to 317 in 2011. But the number of international students rose to 624 from 565.
