Granite City Man Gets Lengthy Prison Term For Child Porn

GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOX) –  A Granite City man has been sentenced to serve more than eight years in a federal prison for possessing child porn on his computer.

38-year-old Jason L. Bowen was sentenced Wednesday at U.S. District Court in East St. Louis.

He was ordered to spend eight years and one month behind bars, then be on supervised release for the remainder of his life once he’s out of prison.

In October of 2010, Bowen was found to have images of child pornography at his apartment, which he’d downloaded from the internet.
