The 7th annual Kevin Kline Award nominations have been announced. The award ceremony will take place April 2 at the Loretto Hilton Center. The Kline Awards are St. Louis’ version of the Tony Awards. They recognize excellence in achievement in all phases of theater as seen in many theater groups in St. Louis, from the largest to the smallest.

The Rep topped all nominees with a total of 31 nominations. The Muny had the second most nominations with 18, and Stages received 17 nominations.

The New Jewish Theater was named in 14 nominations. The Black Rep received 12 nominations and The Mustard Seed Theater 10. The awards are formally presented by The Professional Theater Council of St. Louis.
