Predicting A Snowy Monday

Brad Choat

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – It’s not going to be a big snowstorm, but a National Weather Service meteorologist in St. Louis says to get ready for some accumulation.

Jim Kramper says the way it looks now, the St. Louis area will get the brunt of the storm during the day, Monday, “We’re not talking six to twelve inches or anything like that. But, it could be two or three, and depending how things go, up to four in some places.”

He says Monday’s afternoon commute may be a tricky one, if his snowstorm timing prediction holds true.

Kramper’s forecast is for a noticeable cold snap this weekend — then a slight warm-up on Monday— but, not too much above freezing, if at all.
