ELSBERRY, Mo. (AP) - A northeast Missouri man remains jailed on allegations that he is responsible for several arson fires in Elsberry.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says 33-year-old Roy William Gunn of Elsberry was arrested last week. He is accused of setting fire to seven buildings from July 19 through Feb. 14, causing total damage of about $500,000.

Gunn is jailed on $75,000 cash-only bond. He does not yet have a listed attorney, according to Casenet, Missouri’s online court reporting system.
