ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Police say an 18 year-old who allegedly asked his friend to shoot him has died.
Matthew Pellegrini was shot Tuesday night while sitting in his friends car. According to police 21-year-old Kevin Beindorff showed Pellegrini a revolver. Pellegrini then asked Beindorff to shoot him. Beindorff allegedly raised the gun to the victim’s forehead and fired one shot, then drove him to a hospital.
Biendorff is being held on a $300,000 cash only bond. His current charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action are expected to be upgraded.
Investigators say the pair knew each other. And there is no motive for the deadly shooting at this time.
