The ‘Dead’ Live at the Movies Again!
Get Breaking News First
On April 19th, Grateful Dead fans can take a flashback trip to the summer of 1989 and relive one of the Dead’s most iconic concerts.
Called the “Grateful Dead Second Annual Meet-Up 2012,” Fathom Events is presenting a film that evening of a one-night-in-theater concert event that was held on July 18, 1989 at the Alpine Valley Music Theater in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The never-before-seen concert comes directly from the estate of the Grateful Dead.
The concert features the entire Grateful Dead group, including Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Brent Mydland, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart. Special features of the program will also include a rare slide show of pictures of the group and other showcase music and archival items. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early. A similar event last year played to SRO audiences across the Country.
The concert film will be shown one-time only at 7 PM CDT at The St. Louis Mills 18 in Hazelwood. Tickets are $12.50 per person. The program runs 2 and 1/2 hours.
