Budget Cuts Loom for St. Louis Public Schools

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis School District is facing some big budget cuts.

KSDK-TV reports that the district is cutting more than $11 million from its 2012-13 budget. Administrative officials say no teachers will be cut and no schools closed. The cuts are expected to occur on the administrative level at the central office.

The school board will vote on the cuts on April 5.
