ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  Outside Kilroy’s Bar downtown Wednesday night, a hushed candlelight vigil for the Waterloo man killed in last weekend’s tent collapse during a heavy rain and hail storm.

Many of those on hand were also inside the tent Saturday evening when high winds caused the temporary tent outside Kilroy’s to implode.

Al Goodman died of his injuries, and dozens of others were hospitalized.

Kilroy’s itself remains closed ever since the tragedy, and owners say they don’t know when they might reopen.
