ELSBERRY, Mo. (AP) — For the third time this year, an eastern Missouri man has won a substantial prize in the Missouri Lottery.
Lottery officials say Ronald Cordsiemon Sr. of Elsberry’s latest prize is a $20,000 winner for the “Silver Anniversary” scratchers game, purchased at a Casey’s General Store in Elsberry. He also won a $100,000 Lottery prize in January and $610 playing Lotto.
Luck apparently runs in the family. Cordsiemon’s son won a $50,000 Lottery prize Christmas Day last year.
Cordsiemon is a frequent player. He says he plays every day and plays virtually every game available.
