St. Louis Used Car Dealer Banned from the Business

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster says the owners of a St. Louis used car dealership have agreed to be banned permanently from the industry.

Koster announced the settlement Monday with McMullen Auto Credit LLC and owners Nikki McMullen, Jamie McMullen Sr. and Jamie McMullen Jr. The business shut down in December after Koster filed a lawsuit.

The attorney general’s office says that in addition to the ban, McMullen Auto Credit agreed to repurchase six vehicles for which it never delivered good title. The McMullens also agreed to offer refunds for down payments, trade-ins and installment payments, and pay more than $7,000 in restitution plus $12,500 to the state.
