Title IX was passed in 1972 to prevent discrimination of females in academics and sports. KMOX Sports Director Tom Ackerman spoke with tennis legend Billie Jean King about celebrating 40 years of Title IX. King also talked about her experiences as a female athlete, and how far sports have come since.
