ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) – A manhunt is underway for a suspected child abuser in St. Charles.

Police say the suspect allegedly molested a six-year-old boy Tuesday afternoon.

So far, the search has centered around the St. Charles Baptist church on Muegge Rd. near Mexico Rd. along the city limit with St. Peters.

Officers say the suspect lived close to the search area and was known to ride his bicycle through the neighborhood.
