NEW YORK (KMOX/AP) - Two Cardinals will be starting for Tony LaRussa’s squad in the 2012 All-Star Game.

Fans voted in outfielder Carlos Beltran and shortstop Rafael Furcal.

The rosters for the All-Star game in Kansas City on July 10 were announced Sunday afternoon.

Catcher Buster Posey, outfielder Melky Cabrera and third baseman Pablo Sandoval of the Giants were also picked as starters, along with outfielder Matt Kemp of the Dodgers and second baseman Dan Uggla of Atlanta.

Two additional Cardinals were picked as National League reserves: pitcher Lance Lynn and catcher Yadier Molina.

The manager and his staff will choose the NL’s designated hitter.
