FENTON, Mo. (KMOX) -  Firefighters are working at the scene of an apparent house explosion and fire in Fenton.

They were called to the home in the 2100 block of Palatine Court around 5 a.m. Friday.

Reportedly, nobody was inside the house at the time, and there’s a “For Sale” sign in front of the property.

No word of any injuries at this time, although homes on both sides appear to have suffered heavy damage.
