ST LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Rams defensive end Robert Quinn faces a DWI charge, after being involved in an accident in Florissant earlier this month.

Police tell us Quinn’s vehicle hit a bridge abutment while exiting I-270 at Washington/Elizabeth, at about 5:30 on the morning of July 10th.

Spokesman Andy Haarmon says Quinn was charged in municipal court and posted cash bond.

Quinn was the Rams’ first-round draft pick in 2011.

The Rams issued a statement in response to Quinn’s arrest: “The Rams and the NFL office are aware of the situation regarding Robert Quinn. We take such matters very seriously and we will act accordingly once the legal process plays out.”
