This morning’s low of 86 degrees tied the record for the warmest morning ever in St. Louis. The only other morning it was ever this hot was July 24 of 1901.

The record for most days hotter than 105 degrees was also broken today. So far, St. Louis has had 11 this summer.

Kramper says since the beginning of the year, Missouri ahs tied or broken 23 high temperature records, and tied for broken 17 minimum temperature records.

When asked if it was ever going to cool down, he laughed.

“January…there’s always hope,” he said. “No, it’ll get cold again, don’t worry.”
