ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Charlie Brennan will host a live in-studio debate on Monday, July 30th from 10:00 – 11:00 am on NewsRadio 1120 KMOX.

Democrats Russ Carnahan and William Lacy Clay are competing for the hotly contested 1st District seat of the U.S. House of Representatives. This could be the only debate between these two candidates before the August 7th primaries and the last chance for voters to hear the key differences in their political stances.

While the Charlie Brennan show usually encourages listener call-ins, this will be a closed debate. The format, set by Brennan, will be to allow each candidate a one minute answer for each question posed. If either candidate mentions the other in his answer, the opponent will receive 30 seconds to respond.

Charlie Brennan has been with KMOX for 24 years and is the host of The Charlie Brennan Show from 9:00 to 11:00 am airing Monday through Friday on NewsRadio 1120 KMOX. Charlie Brennan also hosts the Donny Brook show on KETC The Nine Network.
