ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Two days after Chick-fil-A set a one-day sales record mostly by the efforts of people who say they support the owner’s outspoken stand against same-sex marriage, another protest is planned, this time for gay rights activists.
It’s “National Same-Sex Kiss Day” and people are asked to kiss a member of the same sex at the fast-food chain. Also post photos of the event on social media sites like facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter.
Organizers say they want to “show Chick-fil-A that everyone deserves to be able to fall in love, start a family, and take their children to eat fried chicken after a soccer match.”
