ST. PETERS, MO (KMOX)-Thanks to a tipster, a St. Charles County man is in jail accused of soliciting sex with a teenaged girl.
Police say 23-year-old Mohammad Teimoortagh asked a female acquaintance to find a young girl for him to have sex with. When she told him she could find a 15-year-old, he allegedly told her that was too old,he preferred a 12-year-old.
The woman notified the St. Charles County Drug Task Force, which set up a meeting with a fictitious 14-year-old girl. When Teimoortagh showed up outside a hotel to the meet the girl with $100 to pay her, he was met instead by task force members, who took him into custody.
Teimoortagh is charged with attempted sexual trafficking of a child under 18, promoting prostitution, attempted statutory rape, possession of a controlled substance. He’s being held on $250,000 bond.
