TIAM: 2012 Corn Crop, Buying Things Online, Il Retires Making Big $ & Sealt Belts On School Buses

We spoke with Missouri Corn Growers Association Billy Thiel about this year’s crop and how the yield will affect our pocket books.

When is a bargain not really a bargain?  Michael Kercheval of the International Council of Shopping Centers explained how not paying taxes on products we buy online is killing local businesses.

A number of former Illinois Tollway retirees are making the big bucks after retiring.  Jim Tobin is president of Taxpayers United of America.  He explained how this happened and offered several suggestions on how to fix the problem.

We revisited the issue of seat belts on school buses after finding out some districts in Missouri are taking their belts out.  Joe Seyfarth is the President of the Missouri Association for Pupil Transportation and also Transportation Director of the Festus R-6 School District.
