JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (KMOX) - The Cardinals plead their case for ballpark village in Jefferson City. Cards President Bill Dewitt III took his presentation before the Missouri Development Finance Board.
It’s that board that will vote for the state’s share of 17 million dollars in tax incentives, considered the spark-plug for the 89-million dollar first phase of ballpark village.
It will include a Cardinals Hall of Fame, and event area and an Anheuser Bush Pub. Members of the committee reportedly were impressed with Dewitt and his presentation and will likely take a vote on Sept. 18th.
