PIERRON, Ill. (KMOX) - Illinois State Police make a big cocaine bust on Interstate 70 in Madison County.

Troopers say they found 7.9 kilograms of the packaged drug during a traffic stop at Pierron, Wednesday morning.

Street value is $790,000.

Two Cincinnati, Ohio residents (24-year-old Darrallyn Smoot and 28-year-old Kenyon Walton) were taken into custody for drug trafficking and now face federal charges.

Pierron is about 40 miles northeast of St. Louis.
