SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - Police in Springfield say someone sprayed graffiti on the outside of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library.
The State Journal-Register reports ( http://bit.ly/PnfqZ5 ) police say brown marker was on the museum’s north marble wall. They say the graffiti writing was done overnight Friday. Authorities estimate the damage at about $200 and say there is no surveillance video footage available.
Police say the name “DeAntre” was written once, “Taylor” was written twice and “DeVontay” was written three times. Police also say lines were drawn along the top part of the marble.
