Alleged Carjacking Attempt Outside Dome

ST. LOUIS (KMOX)- Police are investigating an attempted carjacking outside the Edward Jones Dome in downtown St. Louis.

The victim tells police he was in his car talking on a cell phone at Seventh and Cole, early Sunday, when a man with a gun approached and asked him to get out.

The driver threw the car into reverse and backed into light pole, knocking it down.

The suspect fired one shot, which struck a window at the Dome.

Police are looking for two men for questioning.

They’re described as African-American males standing around six feet tall with medium builds and dark complexions. They were reportedly wearing dark hoodies at the time of the incident.
