BALLWIN, MO. (KMOX) – Ballwin’s residents might soon be allowed to bow hunt deer on their property.
The board of aldermen is drafting an ordinance that would allow it on properties bigger than one acre.
Mayor Tim Pogue says it’s proven to be safe in other surrounding cities.
He says vehicle collisions with deer have spiked, with at least two, in the past two weeks.
Neighboring Ellisville is considering a similar ordinance.
